Four Seasons George V, Paris

Like the other exclusive hotels that share its name, the Four Seasons George V exemplifies luxury—this time with a decidedly Parisian twist. Guests will be taken with its carefully restored 17th-century tapestries, delightful courtyards and gardens, spectacular floral arrangements, and remarkably perceptive service from a dedicated staff.

The majestic 1928 building houses a wealth of fabulous ways to entertain and indulge guests. Take a dip in the heavenly swimming pool, dine in a Michelin-starred restaurant, experience the wonders of the lavish spa, work up a sweat in the fitness centre, and get a little work done with the comprehensive business services.

The 245 rooms and suites each possess striking architectural details, and many include private terraces overlooking the city. A few of the sumptuous amenities include marble bathrooms, chandeliers, thick terry bathrobes, down pillows, wired or wireless Internet access, and twice-daily housekeeping service to keep it all neat and tidy. For the ultimate in opulence, choose one of the two Royal Suites, featuring antiques; a marble entrance foyer; oversized living room and fireplace; and huge bathroom with steam room, sauna, and a walk-in dressing room with hairdressing facilities.

Dining
Executive Chef Eric Briffard brings his superb cuisine to the Four Seasons George V through its signature restaurant, Le Cinq. Classic French culinary techniques, as well as innovative new approaches, take centre stage on the menus, while the elegant décor features a grey-and-gold colour palette and china and silver designed especially for the award-winning restaurant. La Galerie is a very upscale lounge, with 19th-century paintings and furniture and Flemish tapestries. Le Bar is an intimate rendezvous spot, with a mahogany bar and a large window that overlooks Avenue George V.

Spa
The George V boasts the most luxurious hotel spa in Paris. Dressed in soft tones and 18th century prints, the spa has the ability to magically melt stress as soon as one enters. Choose from an expansive menu of services including massages, facials, body treatments, therapies for men, and salon services. The health club provides another way to unwind and features state-of-the-art fitness equipment, men’s and women’s saunas, steam rooms, and private instruction. After your workout, dive into the glorious pool, which is surrounded by trompe l’oeil murals that recall the gardens of Versailles.
